Proverbs 25:28 says “Whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls.” The Greek word for discipline comes from the root word krat, which denotes power or lordship. So, self-discipline means to exercise power or lordship over your own self (i.e. every member of your body, including your thoughts, will, and emotions).

How’s your self-discipline?

The world screams, “It’s YOUR life, do whatever makes you happy!” But for believers, the message is “It’s GOD’s life, do whatever makes Him happy!” For we know our lives don’t belong to us, but to Christ (1 Corinthians 6:20).

So, last night’s MNC Prayer Call dealt with the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) of Self-Discipline/Self-Control. As believers, we often pray for deliverance, but don’t practice/exercise the discipline needed to stay delivered.

Listen to last night’s recording where God spoke in a very clear and practical way. I pray the teaching blesses you!
