Luke 1:30-33 30 Then the angel [Gabriel] said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

The story is told in Luke 1:30-33 of Mary’s encounter with the angel Gabriel. While typically preached at Christmas time, the revelation in this passage is applicable to our everyday walk with the Lord.

Having heard Gabriel’s powerful prophecy, Mary responded with- “…How can this be, since I do not know a man?” It didn’t make sense to Mary. She didn’t see HOW it could happen because of what she was lacking in her life. She didn’t feel qualified or that she met the prerequisites for the fulfillment of God’s promise.

Mary was trying to figure it out, when God had already worked it out. And that’s where many of us find ourselves consistently in our relationship with God. But, listen to this Midnight Cry Prayer Call teaching and open up your heart to respond in faith, “Lord, be it unto me according to Thy Word!
